Which vehicle should you ask for?
Kia cargo / Kia Bongo or pickup
For a few items, one room or small shop stock between two Baghdad districts.
Jumbo / Isuzu Jumbo
A medium box truck for a mid-sized home or goods that need protection from sun and dust.
Lorry
For a large home, warehouse goods or larger quantities of building materials.
Dump truck
For sand, gravel and loose building materials.
Trailer (tereila)
For very heavy or very long loads; usually requested between governorates rather than within the city.
Flatbed (sateha)
For cars or equipment carried on an open deck.
Not sure which vehicle you need? Describe the load and its approximate weight, and the driver will say in their offer whether their vehicle fits. Availability of each type depends on registered drivers who are available.

How much does a move within Baghdad cost?
There is no fixed price. It depends on the distance between districts, the vehicle type, the size of the load, the floor and any help with loading. You enter a suggested budget and drivers make their offers.
Can I find a Kia cargo truck in Mansour or Karrada?
Your request goes to available drivers. How quickly you get offers depends on drivers nearby and the time of the request; we do not guarantee a specific time.
Is WASL a moving company with its own vehicles?
No. WASL is a platform that connects you with independent drivers whose accounts and vehicle documents have been reviewed. WASL does not own vehicles.
Can I move goods from Baghdad to another governorate?
WASL is currently available within Baghdad and Basra and between them in both directions. Any additional governorates will be announced when they become available.
How do I pay?
Payment is in cash, directly between the shipper and the driver, according to the offer you choose. WASL does not collect transport fees or handle payments.
